    2) Release detailed specifications for the MIDI operation of the Kore controller so that it can be used with other programs.
    It seems kore controller doesn't work in midi:D but NI protocol : you must use
    controlled editor for midi or mcu messages !
    It seems kore software can have midi assignations (n° midi cc in sonftware control page ) but in vst mode it receive midi cc but not send.
    Kore 2 software work with vst ID parameters , not midi.
    Only preset perfs can have a midi pc assignation.

    How would you phrase the request? The desire here is to get enough specifications so that we can have two way communications with the controller in other programs, and drive the menu-ing system using non Kore software.

    Further : NI give the kore api and ksd to your partners !
    Camel audio , soft tube,heavyocity i don't know...
    This is possible that a kore 3 will be made under-treatment and under license by a third part compagny ?

    This is not supposed to be "the official NI response", but still -

    (1) Which "other programs" would eventually make use of such data in a way that would benefit a relevant percentage of Kore users?

    (2) The Kore controller does not use MIDI but rather our own internal NHL protocol so there is no "MIDI specification" to release here.

    i think that there should be some way to preserve a database that has been personalized by the user so that, say, if one needs to re-install Windows, or needs to start from scratch on a new computer, the "user" categories, colors & stars can remain intact. i am one of the people who plan on using my Kore until it dies, will remain a Windows 7 user until then, if need be. so i would prefer that i would not have to re-enter everything, due to the fact that it takes practically an inhuman amount of time to do so
