Native instruments Traktor Pro did support nicely Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus as controllers.
However, recent version, Pioneer CDJ-3000 is out for about 9 months or so.

Does NI Traktor Pro plans to support new CDJ-3000 with HID mode or not. And if so, when.
So that we, Traktor users, are aware of your plans.

The CDJ-3000 integration seems to be on the roadmap.
Unfortunately, I don't have an exact timeline just yet but we should have more information this month

Ok, great, thank you for the information and update.
So this will be newer version of Traktor software, or just some package for importing controls. Also, will be full HID supported (like Serato DJ Pro for CDJ-3000 with visual on CDJ etc.) or just partial / legacy MIDI controller option? Tx

hkusulja I don't have more details at this point but we'll know more when the new update is closer to beta.

Noiseproject Unfortunately, I can't see anything about Denon.

    Attention NI:

Ive been a long, long time user of Traktor since 2007. Started using HID and since the new updates on Mac your legacy products are not supported so I had to part ways with my audio 8.

When is NI going to release information about HID support for the CDJ3000? It's been over a year and still not one word or response. Instead you release an update with "streaming service integration"? I own an audio rental company with a high end boutique sound system and still dj till this day and frankly Im extremely disappointed that I can't even use Traktor after I paid for the update. Pioneer rekordbox is garbage. When will NI release this update? You stated we would have an answer in April and its been 2 months since your post. Whats gives?

I very much agree. I keep running into the players at shows worldwide and should not be pushed towards rekordbox. I am a loyal traktor user and would like to keep it this way.

Beatport stream integration might be great for some users, but for the ones who have been using traktor from the beginning, our heart and soul is in our libraries.

We would very much appreciate an update from the NI side.

CDJ-3000 integration should be coming in the next update. I don't have the exact date but it's meant to be this month ;)

    Jonas C,

I don't usually bother creating forum posts but I must say I upgraded to Traktor 3 to try out this beta test and straight away I feel at home on my new CDJ-3000's and DJM-V10 once connected to Traktor.

Rekordbox upon first use appears to be terrible for analysis I've found when letting it analyse a small part of my collection.

But now you have released this new CDJ-3000's support I can safely say Rekordbox can jog on.

The integration is pretty flawless so far as I have tested it but I wanted to ask you are the Traktor effects mapped to a certain button to turn on and off and change effect parameter on the CDJ-3000's? I need that beat masher 2 back! My old CDJ controllers were actually Numark NDX800's which I ran perfectly with DVS turntables and the Scratch A10 interface for nearly 10 years but I was due a well earned upgrade and I now feel much safer knowing you will be supporting this model.

It also states the beta test runs out on around 30/06/21 but I would love to continue using this version for my weekly online radio show. What happens to the current beta version I am running after this date? Do you have a version available without this beta time constraint?

    Thanks

    Rob

As the message says it will expire on that date, meaning it will stop working. NI will always release a new beta or do an official release before that date.

The release candidate without this constraint has already been released. If no new issues are found it will be officially released next week.

Thanks Erik! So it looks like I can install this new release candidate before the beta time runs out to continue using as normal, and then use the official stable release next week.

Because I'm new to the forum I was unaware this had already been posted in another section of this forum.

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated!

    Rob
