Pioneer filter or TSP2 filter?

I've searched the forum for this and couldn't find anything on it. If there is please post the link.

Bottom line, I LOVE the Pioneer color filter on the DJM-700/800/900. Use it to mix in and out of tracks, create build ups, and so on. I have the X1 mainly for looping, track selection, and hot cue selection. I use the effects occasionally, more so when there isn’t a Pioneer mixer to play on. Unfortunately the TSP2 filter sounds nothing like the Pioneer filter. In fact, I hardly like it at all. I’ve tried using the reverb and other effects with the filter in TSP2 to emulate the Pioneer’s swooping or swish sound….no success.

Has anyone been able to emulate the Pioneer color filter in TSP2? NI, can we get a filter that has this unique sound? Please!

Also, why isn’t there any echo in the TSP2 effects?

 

Traktor filters sound way more awesome than the pioneer dhm-900 filters if you chain then. I have the DJM-900 and love it but when it comes to building drama and effects I use chained flters. Check this tuturial out.

using your DJM as a controller for traktor is awesome too. Hope this opens up some new possibilities for you.

 

decsc, i think exactly as you and till today i found nothing about this.. i simply love the djm800 color filter!

 

NI filter combinations that does twice better than DJM's color filters.

Reverb T3 came out like 2010, nothing newer related to this topic between 2011~2018.

 

I use the filter 92 in single miode with the resonance on max, v similar to djm that way

 

So why resurrect a thread from 2011, when the original poster hasn't posted since 2012?
