Pirates selling NI products on eBay

    Hello NI!
    I would like to inform you that is on eBay pirates selling your products.
    I have contacted with sellers (pirates), asked to remove listings with your libraries,
    aslo contacted eBay support but nothing has happened! They are make thousand dollars, not good

    It happens all the time and most companies like NI aren't really concerned that much as it takes too many resources to police it. People should be smarter and if they aren't, they kind of deserve to be ripped off with something like this. Super easy to get your money back with this kind of thing via PayPal, just state it is counterfeit and sellers don't have much protection with software, money is refunded. Many don't bother tho which is why they keep doing it.

    Best to just report the seller to ebay and let them handle it.

    As far as resources go, many companies include the cost of theft when placing a price on their product. Us legitimate buyers are paying for those pirated versions.

    You can report an eBay listing as fraud/copyright infringement etc in the listing without contacting support, I recently got scammed for some App Store vouchers, I reported it ,and it was removed , then I found a couple of other listings and I did the same , I’m pretty sure it worked as the others I found disappeared from my watch list after a few hours
