Hi peeps i'm new to the forum & have a prob that i'm hoping someone can help me with. Basically i'm working on a tune @ the mo & want to automate the pitch next to the modulation wheel. I record the automation on the track the way i always do in Cubase but it doesnt happen & there is no pitch option for me to automate how do i do it?

    Hello there.

Sorry if this looks patronising - I obviously don't know your level of Cubase knowledge.

I just recorded a small part to make sure that pitch wheel automation works as normal and it does on my setup.

I wonder, are you looking in the right place for your pitch wheel info? In case you're not, open the Key Editor (AKA the 'piano roll'). Now, at the bottom of the page, you should see the (default) velocity info. At the left of the page you'll see that there is a drop-down box which will (probably) be labeled 'Velocity'. If you click on this, a list will drop down and you will see that 'Pitchwheel' is the 2nd entry. Click on this and you'll be able to edit the pitch info. If you right click in the velocity area you can, amongst other things 'make a new controller lane', so you could have velocity AND pitch visible if you want it.

Again, sorry if this wasn't what you meant.
