Pitch bends not working, sync problem?

Hi,

First post here. I recently started experimenting with Traktor with a Hercules DJ 4Set controller and got everything set up nicely, but can't get the pitch fader or the pitch bend step buttons to work properly. After research I found that sync settings might be disabling my pitch bend options. This prohibits me from speeding up a 100bpm gradually to a 105/100 bpm, when I feel I dont want to pitch the next track down for instance. Ive tried numerous things, but can not figure it out. Sync buttons on controller are always lid, not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Symptoms:

-pitch step buttons will pitch up track with 1,5% up or down when hold down, but when I let it go, the tempo reverts to original.
-pitch fader does absolutely nothing, but is mapped correctly I think (soft takeover enabled, interaction mode direct)

Suspected culprit:

-A setting which locks a track's bpm that I have yet to find.

Desired behaviour:

-Pitch step buttons should gradually increase tempo by x% (if someone can tell me how to edit the x value, that'd be great).
-Pitch fader should raise or lower tempo when I touch it and keep it at that tempo.

I solved it myself:

Pitch steps I made with pitch fade assignments with Inc en Dec for the buttons. Pitch fader works after removing one of the controllers CCs. Controller map has two CCs for the sliders, using one enabled the slider in Traktor.

SOLVED THE ISSUE BY SWITCHING CONTROLLER TO 14bit MODE!
