hello, i am relatively new to synthesis and have been experimenting and learning as much as i can the last several weeks.

in NI Rounds, there is a pitch modulation function which creates a distinct sound that i really like. i have tried re-creating the sound in several other NI soft-synths including absynth and massive without any success. i have tried FM modulation, modulating the pitch directly with an lfo, and a few other things. it seems that the key might be in the oscillator sync function of rounds? unfortunately, i don't see anyway to properly do that in absynth or massive.

attached is a screenshot of a sound in NI Rounds that i am trying to replicate as well as an oscilloscope readout showing the resultant waveform.

is there anyway to replicate this behavior in absynth or massive? thanks for the help!

I don't think you can quite get that anywhere else than in Rounds, it's a very specific way of doing oscillator cross-modulation.

Can you upload an audio clip from Rounds? The Oscilloscope you posted looks like the Saw wave is Pitch Modulating the Triangle (downward). This is happening rapidly I imagine, not your typical 'LFO'! My hypothesis would be that you need to speed the LFO up to match the Note pitch, which is difficult.
