Pitch problem - scratch pro with cdj800

    Hi, yesterday i had gig and played with djm800 & 2 x cdj800mk2...
    traktor calibrate control cd and i can scratch and i can play tracks from cdj800 but pitch dont work...i go up & down on cdj but in the softwear it doesnt "move"...

    tryed to reinstall tsp but always the same...

    help... :)

    are you using timcode cd or hid (if that's available on a 800)?

    I'm not sure if the fader is supposed to move if you use timecode, set the deck up so that you can see the bpm and see if it changes

    And make sure you don't have master tempo on the CDJ's turned on.

    hi,
    i use original timecode cd and audio 8dj, i have mac book where is installed tps 1.2.4 and i put the EXTERNAL MIXER (SYNC) in use, also have External (plain & scope), and pitch is working but the bar in the softwear isnt moving... ?

    still no working...master tempo off...
    pitch bar in softwear isnt moving up or down...when change pitch on cdj...?

    The pitch bar doesn't move but the BPM should still change.

    dude... cdj 800 mk2 ?... the 800 series don't have midi functions... only timecode ability...
    i don't think that if you change the pitch on the CDJ, the software is supposed to respond... though i am not sure. the only way it will work is if the software recognizes the speed difference due to pitch adjustment in the cdj, and through that, automatically correct the pitch changes in the software... not sure though...

    OF COURSE the pitch fader in the software doesnt move.
    it's not midi mapped... how should that work, lol.

    or in other words: you can change the pitch in the software as well as in the hardware... independantly!
