Hi, a file .nki contains different FXs for each key.

If I like an FX in particular, how can I play it with all keys? For ex., The .nki file contains a nice FX in C, but on the C# key there is an FX completely different. In which way can I "isolate" the C FX and play it in all key of the keyboard?

    thank you

Unfortunately we can't answer this question without knowing the design of the specific NKI you're talking about. The developer could have achieved this in any number of different ways, so we can't advise you on tweaking it.

Thank you for your reply. I'm using the "Gravity" library by BigFish Audio.

I like a single FX but it doesn't available for all keys. I would like to "extract" it and use it in all keys.

I would like to thank in advance anyone who can help me out!

I'm not familiar with that library, but it looks like it's part of their KLI series. Get in touch with them, or watch the KLI tutorial videos to see how it works and how it can be tweaked.

Thank you for your reply again.

This is issue isn't available in their videos. It's a Kontakt issue. I thought it was a common problem: how to extract a single FX and use it on all keys.

Is it possible using another VST/AU ?

I would like to thank in advance anyone who can help me

I think this is not an issue at all really. The instrument probably has some group effects pertaining to a number of zones mapped to certain keys, and a different set of group effects pertaining to a different number of zones mapped to some other keys. That's just a guess.

Definitely get in touch with BFA, both David and myself don't own this library so we can't provide any in-depth explanations about how it's supposed to work and what to do to have it work the way you want it.

Good day EvilDragon. I've noticed that you are very knowledgeable about Kontakt Code writing. I'm experiencing a problem while using KONTAKT 5.4.2 with the Vienna Imperial plugin installed. I play the piano and use a sustain pedal as well. For some reason, when I release my sustain pedal it abruptly stops the sustain effect. It just cuts the sustenance off completely. It doesn't have any decay time after releasing, so during music-playing it sounds quite staccato at times. Is there a possible code that could be written to remedy this? I would be eternally grateful if you could help me. I will rate you simply for helping me out. I apologize for posting it in this thread but I am not allowed to send you inbox messages, for some reason. I am new here.

    Regards,
