Playground Fragments - Poly Synth Competition entry

Here's my entry to Native Instrument's Poly Synth Competition on MetaPop:

Playground Fragments

The track is created completely on the Maschine+ in standalone mode, and then transferred to the Maschine software for final mixing and exported.

Only the Poly Synth and Drum Synth engines were used as sound sources. The themes were inspired by playing around with the TekBass, Playground, Elefos and Tines Piano presets for the Poly Synth. Presets used for the main drum sounds and effects are Dusty Room Kick, Bit Rim Snare, Breaker Dub Snare and Crash Stratosphere. Additional effect sounds created from scratch with the PolySynth noise.

I've always used Maschine as a VST in Cubase, and this is my first time creating a complete track from idea to final mix within Maschine.
It was a lot of fun, especially jamming around on the Maschine+ and JAM combo, playing around with the Arpeggiator in Keyboard and Chords mode. During arrangement and mixing, I touched a lot of new ground and learned a lot about Maschine in general.
