basically i run my traktor out through the audio8 into an external mixer

i dont use and timecode and i dont use the internal mixer (i hate software mixers, <3 analog)

anywho....i output my mixer back into one IN of the audio8 (usually ch. D) so that i can record my mix....in the traktor record or audacity or whatever

the problem i am having is that when i do this it detect my mixers output (my mix going into ch. d for recording) as faulty timecode and makes that deck all choppy and unusable

is there anyway i could record and still have all 4decks ready to go?

    thanks!

u know what worked for me: i have assigned only input channel A (or D in your case) and selected this as the recording input. all you have to do is assign all scratch controls to an unrouted input channel. so the incoming signal (the one you like to record) doesnt interfere with the program.

f**** i´ve written a detailed text 3 times and my f** browser always messes it up...look at the attachments maybe you get it then.

the trick ist to assign all decks in the timecode setup to a "dead" (or unused) input channel (pic 2). then no deck is influenced by the incoming signal.

yeah that´s the point. 4 deck scratch control and recording with traktor simoultaneously does not seem to work with the current version of Traktor Pro.
