A few quick questions on playlists after reading the manual & searching the site for answers:

Yesterday I prepped my system, had some hot tracks, and started a nice Thanksgiving Day house mix. I did not clear the Current Playlist first. Like the older versions of Traktor, I presumed that Traktor would just add tracks to the playlist in the order they were played, but it didn't.

    1. Is there a setting that needs to be selected so tracks in the playlist are added & ordered in the original order they were played? Could this be because I think I may have limited my playlist to 40 tracks? If that is even possible, I think I recall changing that setting at one point but can't find it now. So, where can I find the option to adjust either of these things?

    2. What does the Reset Played-State button do? Logically it should reset to played state if you have rearranged, however I never re-arranged the tracks and they are not in the order played except in the History folder and hitting the Reset button didn't change a thing.

    3. Export Playlist to Print - can this be set to any default so I don't have to uncheck 20 boxes every time I want to save a playlist?

    4. When searching for tunes can an upgrade recommendation be added to the list that is basic Windows-type functionality - by selecting a letter on the keyboard the collection goes to that letter? If I hit "M" it automatically jumps to the first track starting with "M"? This would make finding tracks much easier than having to use the search function.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

i'm not sure if i understand you right, but... you can lock/ unlock a playlist by right-clicking on it. then all changes made to that playlist are only temporary (i guess we're talking about 3.1.3 here??!). this doesnt work for the current playlist.

if a track was played before and has a checkmark (i.e.) this gets resetted.

    unfortunately not.

good idea, i will post this as improvement request but right now this is not possible.
