playlisten locken?

ist es doch jederzeit: ueber playlist export oder fuer alle playlists auf einmal mit collection export.

wie oft muss ich eigentlich noch wiederholen, dass NI sich da an der populaeren software itunes orientiert hat, wo es das (AFAIK) auch nicht gibt?

 

Genre Listen sind dahingegen unbrauchbar, denn was willst du denn in so nen Tag schreiben wenn du als Überordner nen Oldie oder Chart sortierung haben willst...dort sind eben unterschiedliche Genres aufzufinden!

populaere sw hin oder her, itunes ist keine dj sw.

ein lock wieder einzuführen sollte für jemanden mit einblick in die programmierung ein kinderspiel sein und dich in deiner arbeitsweise mit sicherheit nicht behindern..

there is no playlist lock in traktor that is similar to the beatgrid lock. (there have been numerous feature requests in the past in which people called for a simple and reliable playlist lock.)

as to what you can do as of right now, i think this was the best suggestion:

very rough translation:

after each session, traktor creates a backup of the collection. these backups are versioned. in case you accidentally move tracks, delete playlists, or similar, it is sufficient to import a collection backup file.

that should even work live/when on air.

 

Thanks for the translation. Coming from Traktor DJ Studio 3, this is a huge letdown. The playlist locking in DJ Studio was perfect. Why would you not have a feature to prevent against playlist accidents? I have a hard time believing that there is even a single user out there who hasn't "accidentally" screwed up a playlist.

I always backup my Traktor directories manually so I've already got that covered.

I'm beginning to agree with many other users who say that every new software release may have some new features but they end up leaving out really important ones. I even called NI tech support today to ask them and some guy told me to "read the manual". What a waste.

the main problem regarding playlist lock or better in bringing back this most essential feature is the ignorance of ni and of many users, at least in the german forum.

see.... if there is just few percent of members wishing back this feature, ni is not even thinking about the big disadvantage of leaving this feature.

i have been dissed over and over again and still i am, for claiming this feature back.

they compare it to itunes, where there is no playlist lock too, what imho is completely nonsense, cause i don't know a dj mixing music infront of an audiece life...

but still nice to see that i am not the only nerd.

Danke, dass Du die Englisch-Diskussion gestoppt hast. Vielleicht sollte man diese Beiträge noch löschen um die Übersichtlichkeit zu bewahren. (falls das überhaupt geht, ich bin zum ersten Mal in einem Forum)

Zu Playlisten habe ich auch eine eindeutige Meinung:

Ich hab' mich ebenfalls schon oft geärgert, dass "plötzlich auf unerklärliche Weise ... sich an andere Playlisten ohne zu tun rangehängt haben." + "
Das Gleiche gilt für das wundersame Verschieben von Tracks in vorhandenen Playlisten.". Ob das nun durch einen Fehler meinerseits oder durch einen programmseitigen Fehler passiert ist, sei dahin gestellt. Deshalb bin ich ebenfalls dafür, dass man die Möglichkeit haben sollte, Playlisten zu sperren/locken.

Ich persönlich nutze Playlisten sehr intensiv und schliesse mich dem Kollegen an:
