Playlists disappearing?

Hi! If anyone can offer some help or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it! I must have done something wrong. When I start Traktor, my playlists are gone and the folder is red with an X through it. Any ideas?

check if traktor closes properly - after shutting down traktor, check in the task manager if there is still a traktor.exe process running. if so: update to 2.6.1 that fixes the issue.

 

You can sometimes "lose" them by accidentally putting them in a Folder in the Playlist menu tree

 

Playlists are linked to your track collection. I made the mistake once to clear the collection, and imported the music folders again to the collection, but all my playlists were gone...So now everytime I make a playlist, I export it to keep a "backup".In my opinion a playlist needs to link to the tracks location, and not to the location in the track collection...

 

the playlists are technically part of the collection, yes.
