I have been having a load of problems with these pieces of hardware integrating with Traktor's software. Sometimes I use the Z2 in standalone mixer mode for my APC40 set up, but I wish to try out the Traktor set up and can't get the Z2 to register as a Traktor device in the software. When I first boot the Z2, it decides what mode it'll be in and I can't change it. If I boot with Traktor open, it'll still enter standalone and when I don't have Traktor on it'll go into either one with no consistency as to which mode will be selected. I've tried the buttons at the top and it won't recognize my inputs. I've tried reinstalling drivers and software to no avail. Also, I've been experiencing issues with the X1. It will flash on for a moment but then revert to being a MIDI device. Setup Wizard made my situation worse when I plugged everything in and started from scratch. Can someone help me get this properly set up?

I am going to fully uninstall and reinstall Traktor. Please advise on next steps after fresh install.

After a fresh reinstall, it worked out. I had to uninstall Controller Editor as well.

Steps for anyone who needs this in the future:
    Delete the following
-Macintosh HD > Applications > Native Instruments > Traktor
-Macintosh HD > Applications > Native Instruments > Controller Editor
-Macintosh HD > Preferences > all native-instruments Traktor & Controller Editor files
-Macintosh HD > Users > User > Library > Preferences > all native-instruments Traktor & Controller Editor files
-Macintosh HD > Users > User > Documents > Native Instruments > Traktor
-Macintosh HD > Users > User > Documents > Native Instruments > Controller Editor
    Download/Install
    -Traktor from "Native Access" application
    -Controller Editor from <https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other>
    -Kontrol X1 Driver from <https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other>
-Traktor Z2 Device Updater from <https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other>
    Reboot
    Plug in devices
    Run Setup Wizard in Traktor
