Please bring back the FM7 randomize features...

Another feature that is missing in FM8 and should be put back is Operator Copy/Paste. (see this thread )

Well, NAMM has started and as expected, the new products from NI are DJ/Groove/Guitar stuff.


I still have faith in NI though and we can certainly expect news about an FM8 update at least by 2nd quarter 2013.....

It definitely seems like the bigger interest in general now, from NI and many users, lie in dj and groove things... just a quick look around the forums and you see that the DJ area is much more active than any of the synths, with daily posts in all topics...

I mean, what of Pro-53, which I just asked about in another forum? No updates, no news...

Well, the truth is that using synths usually requires at least a tiny bit of musical knowledge and talent. I'd better not speak my mind about DJ's - or it'll start a flame war!

The ratio of non-musicians to musicians seems to define NI's strategy of late: Sell to the masses and make more money.

It's a shame really as NI has some excellent synths to its credit. For now, I'll invest my money with Spectrasonics and their superb products.
