    wish: see title.
now Kontakt closes the mapping view which is irritating for the workflow.

Don't double click on the zone then, just open wave editor alongside mapping editor. The double click behavior is by design to quickly jump between two modes, I don't think it is going to change.

Ok. So there is no way to disable that? "Quickly" is relative, obviously, as when I am trying to edit a waveform position by clicking in the waveform window, if I click too fast the Wave Editor closes. Really frustrating.

If they are going to allow for moving the waveform on each click (snap to zero) then they do NOT need to be closing the window.

There's no way to disable that, correct. And my suspicion is that there won't ever be.

So the only cure is more cowbell.

I suppose I could set my mouse double-click speed to the fastest possible, but that's a pain too, but maybe not as much as losing the Wave Editor window constantly.

As a possible workaround, the above doesn't happen if you pop out the wave editor.

Good point, though I usually work inside the plugin (which doesn't pop out in 5.x). But for this I could use the stand alone version.
