I have installed everything and have been using Traktor no problem for a few weeks but now it wont work?
The only thing I am aware of is that i have taken my laptop away from its place without all leads etc
I have replaced all leads and when i boot up i took the usb for the controller out, then back in again but the lights flicker and on occasions the sync lights stay on but still no control of anything via traktor

this sounds like a midi problem, when you put your laptop back into your setup did you plug your controller into the same usb port that it was running off previously.
I only ask this as it is a problem that caused me frustration setting up my Denon SC2000's any time i moved my gear to use outside the house. I eventually figured that it seemed to matter that they had to alway be plugged into the correct port on the laptop or they wouldn't work, although this may have been more due to the fact that my controllers are working on separate midi channels.
you should first make sure that your controller is recognised in device manager, then start Traktor. Go to preferences, controller manager and in the top window check to see if your TSI file is there for your controller, make sure your midi in and out ports here are assigned to correspond with your controller here also.
if that doesn't work perhaps delete your TSI and re import it.
