Holy f*ck this is beyond stupid:
    • You call my remarks about CPU performance "Irrelevant"
    • 3 lines later you are proving the exact same CPU performance point that I had in my "Irrelevant" comment (but for the sake of your argument)
Just before showing how good of a person you are that you don't judge a company's marketing model from thing they did in the past. Do you even read your own comments before posting? This is like arguing with a leftist, I am out.

Oh and I will not reverse engineer Traktor, that's the most delusional thing I've ever heard in the forums here.

Is it really 16 waveforms though? They aren't all running independently of each other. Really it's 4 banks of 4 and I'm sure they could reduce the level of detail that would be in a standard deck waveform and still make it functional.

Lets be honest, just about everything NI have implemented in Traktor's recent history has been with a view to selling hardware. A bit like how with every upgrade to IOS there's functionality that needs the latest and greatest Iphone, Siri for example.

Well, I think we all have no idea, how traktor is structured or built and there can be a lot of issues, if you use real grafics on a programm or try to stream them to an embedded device. Things can get really complicated, even when it looks super simple from the user point of view (yours). The point NI made makes sense, rendering a waveform or rendering anything can be really cpu heavy. That does not mean, that they did not say it to just sell more s8/5/d2s, but opening traktor 4 times surely prooves nothing. You do not know how they implemented traktor and its waveforms and for that, you do not even know what you are testing/prooving by opening traktor 4 times.
The same thing goes for the missing spectra view on the S8/5 screens, wich i think should not be that hard to achieve, from a user point of view but i am pretty sure there is a lot more that we do not know about and therefore should not judge.

But I agree, to make stems cool for everybody, you have to see the stuff in the software. Just for the excitement reason every traktor user wants to have...
