Not the first time I've asked for this. I was secretly and perhaps foolishly hoping that v2.2 would deliver on this one.

Hard to imagine I'm the only one, but maybe it's so... I REALLY need to be able to assign the Save button to the RK2 or MIDI controller the same way I would assign any other button on the interface. ie. when I right-click on Save, I want to see the popup menu with "Learn..." etc as options. This would make me incredibly happy and its absence makes me incredibly sad. I tweak presets on the fly during rehearsals and even performances - turning effects on and off, working levels with the pedal, etc. and there is no time to go to the laptop, grab the mouse and hunt for the Save button. I need to be able to commit on the fly.

It's even worse if your VST host (for instance Ableton Live) steals the Ctl-S keyboard shortcut. You're just out of luck.

    Please, please, please...

Bumping this - is there a single other person who would benefit from this?

just so that you know someones listening, I'm replying but I don't really have enough footswitches as it is. I'd rather is a compaion board to attached to the RK2 first. but I would like a tuner that I can use when the laptop isn't in my lap

Thanks. Looks like it's workaround time again. I considered a line mixer on the 4 outputs of the Audio Kontrol 1 to help me manage preset volumes live, but then again, GR2 won't let me route different presets to different outputs. One Catch-22 after another.
