Hey, yes it's 95% done in Maschine–arrangement and mixing. Once a song is 'finished' in Maschine I open it as a plugin inside of Live and further add EQ/compression to the actual whole Maschine track. None of the songs were bounced out to stems and mixed on individual tracks. The bass was either done with Massive or Logic's ES2 then brought back into Maschine and depending on the bass line was either chopped and rearranged or just played back straight as recorded. You have much more control over modulation in both Ableton Live and Logic. From what I understand Maschine samples in 16 bit so I prefer to bounce the bass in 24 bit from Live or Logic then bring into Maschine.

Once my head was wrapped around Maschine's sequencer it all came together for me, especially the simplest and of course most important of things which was being able to move scenes around with the arrow buttons. I much prefer the work flow of Maschine over both Live and Logic. I don't find it's 'limitations' limiting at all. If anything it's liberating, it's more of an instrument that I'm able to 'play' when coming up with ideas. Turn the screen off and mash away on the pads and knobs! It's better to use your ears at this stage anyway and not your eyes. Then when you're ready to tweak turn the screen back on!

Ha ha, really it is. Until it's released it's WIP. : )
