ok. i was talking about the preset management in the waves plugin-gui.
i don't know if you can save from there, but i'm pretty sure you can.

and concerning live sound quality...of course this depends on taste and whatnot. but if you doubt it's quality, so why do you use it in the first place ?

I use ableton. I like it's sound quality, but I do tend to use third party plugins for eq and compression. It's not that Ableton's are bad, IMO, it's just a preference. I like chooice as to the channel plugins I use. In terms of live use, I rather like Flatblaster. It does take up cpu, but I have enough of that to use it in a couple of channels if needed. Works well as a live channel compressor for me...... If you have cpu probs, try Kjaerhus' (sp?)free plugins. The have a LOW hit, and sound quite good. If my spelling is wrong, just google "classic compressor free".

i use it in the first place in live perfomances.
it is the most practical and funny player for me at the moment.
i am thinking of turn into max/msp or reaktor but there are several things i can do in live...and dont have the knowledge to do them to others
i hardly prefer the sound ( as a generator, or effects) that comes from other software

can anybody reccomend some plug ins for macs?

    thank you all
