plugging in my headphones just broke my ensembles?

Ive been working on a polysynth today using the V-SPLIT 4 Voice Block MIDI Interface.

Got it working finally. sounds really nice. Its on my laptop so using the computer keyboard to play the notes. sound coming out of laptop speakers. all good.

Plugged in my speakers into the headphone socket, no sound. hmmm. tried fiddling with asio etc. audio preferences. nada. hmm.

Now every iteration of my polysynth synth doesnt work. All the versions..?!! What the fuzz! Other things made yesterday or downloaded work, but not mine, even my fixed milestones dont work....

    MIDI light works.
If I open the VCA manually sound comes out.
If I change to a different midi note interface nothing works.

Can this happen? Have I just corrupted something with some sort of weird feedback loop from plugging in the speakers live into the laptop live?

    help!!

That's weird. Do they work if you plug in the headphones but then take them out again?
