Plugin delay compensation would be awesome to have in Maschine. Especially on the new Audio module. Being able to use 3rd party effect plugins for processing loops is a big miss at this moment. Loops just have to be played earlier by the amount of samples that plugins introduce as a delay.

But hey, I'm glad we finally have looping and time-stretching in Maschine. So I don't dare to push our luck :)

Still a big +1 to this

    Or that indeed :D

I’ll let NI decide which one is better or easier to program

+1 I get how it doesn't really fit the design philosophy because it's all meant to sync up live.. still though, having the option available would be damn handy sometimes.

+1 this problem is very frustrating and limits my use of Maschine.

Automatic delay compensation would really be a game-changer, als long as it can be turned off imo. I would not want to sacrifice the latency of every channel during a live performance due to one high-latency effect. I usually bounce groups/individual sounds in the studio just so that I can match them up properly using protools.

I just discovered this limitation when I decided to do a quick mix touchup and demo bounce using Neutron 2 :(

It's really strange to allow 3rd party plugs and not have compensation???

A big problem for me is that maschine records the latency of the interface when sampling external synth or recording real instruments.
so every time when I sample the loops of my analog synths they are a little bit to late (depends on the buffer size) and I have cut some ms at the beginning and paste it to the end. really boring work :)

I think many people do not realize this problem. And I hope it will be solved with a build in delay compensation.

when this problem still exists with the new recording mode in the audio module. it is useless to record into the audio module, because you have to go back to the editor ...

+1 please solve this. It's an essential issue. There is a very well known DAW that took almost a decade to fix the same issue. I hope NI doesn't make the same mistake.

+1 please sort this out. I'll buy a Maschine MK3 to go with my Komplete Kontrol when you do.

It's nuts that a modern 'DAW' like Maschine doesn't have ADC yet (or PDC whatever you wanna call it). Using third party plugins inside Maschine as it is now is almost useless.

We got Sounds.com integration in 2.8. Which is nice but ADC is fundamental. Please prioritize!

Just to prove the point, see attached image:

An opening transient of a kick drum in reaper following a bounce from maschine. The top one has processing from VC76 VST and an EQ VST. The bottom one has no audio processing. Big difference in timings...!
