Hey, new to the forum. I know forms of this question have been talked about before, but not sure if it's been updated in recent releases. I know how to change time signatures in the program, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do it within the controller. The thing I love about Maschine is how I can do nearly everything without having to touch my computer (or even look at it most of the time). But I can't see a way to change time signature other than clicking and dragging the number on the screen, and then dragging the pattern length. I'd love it if in sequence mode (or maybe a more advanced/expanded Grid mode), you could turn two knobs to change the times (like 4/4 to 3/4 or 7/8 or something), and then the pattern snapped to said timing. I don't understand why I have to drag one, and then drag the other.

Also, is there a way to get groups or patterns to run different rhythms independent of each other? It seems like they always defer to the shortest pattern.

Time sig is software only for now. Poly rhythms is not supported. You can have different bar lengths per group but they have to be even divisions or it won't loop correctly. So to have a 3bar loop with 6 or 12 will work but not 3bar with 4bar etc.

ah, duh. yeah making them divisible. That makes sense. I can't believe I didn't think of that, haha.

I hope it gets hardware control soon! Is that something that could be realistically added in an update?
