pops and crackle when traktor loads new music folder

hi every one. i have come across some annoying cracks and pops when playing in traktor scratch pro. this happens when for example i'm playing one track and i load another track for the first time and it's scanning through the track or folder. after the it finishes scanning and the wave form loads the popping stops. im currently running windows vista dual core. can this be an issue with computer performance or is there a way for traktor to scan the files before hand to avoid this from happening while playing. thanx.

 

This is quite often down to your video drivers. If you are on nvidia, try installing drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.

 

Yes, analyze the collection before playing out (right click the topmost folder and Analyze). You need to do this, as no matter how powerful your computer, waiting for it to analyze while playing live is not ideal.
