    Hey folks.

Im just trying out traktor as i think if i get problems sorted i will be purchasing it this weekend.

Now my problem is i get pops in the audio when turning the fx knobs on my pioneer ergo.

I have tried the usual stuff regrding tweaks to run it all sweet and have also tried every latency setting but this problem still persists.

I have also done the usual latecy checker and latency monitor and both of them report that everything is ok.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Yes i have tried everything in the windows 7 tuning tips.

Like i say latency mon and latency checker reports that everything is fine.

I am currently a virtual dj pro user and i can have the asio settings on 128 before i start to here cracks and pops.

But as i feel traktor is much more professional i would really like to purchase the software.

    Thanks again

I've yet to see a fix for this. Here are some previous threads on the topic:

The symptoms: no CPU spikes, no latency issues... absolutely everything is smooth except for changing effects, which leads to a noticeable degradation of the audio signal even when the effect isn't on. Of course, switching effects while the effects bank is not on for the deck playing is an option (though quite a hassle) but even then you aren't safe: turning the effects banks on for a deck can also cause a gap or slight muffling of the signal.

I've searched high and low, tried countless tricks and tips, and haven't been able to come up with a better solution than downgrading. Very frustrating!

    Hi synaptic.

That is my problem exactly. Although I have noticed one thing.

If I have the fx bank setup to only use one effect then the problem is there.

But if I change the fx bank to be able to use 3 effects then the problem isn't there.

    Strange.

I tried that but it didn't change a thing for me. It doesn't seem to matter what the context is, whether the effects are on or off, whether dry/wet is zeroed, whether there are two banks or four banks, and single or grouped effects, in all circumstances simply switching the effect is enough to cause chaos in my audio signal.

Sorry to bring that up, but I'm suffering that issue now. Everything works fine and no cracks or glitches, but as soon as I switch an even "off" set effect (in my case I use the knob of my X1 mk2 to go through the effect list) I hear issues...

I'm using Traktor Scratch 2.9 -> Updating to 2.10 in a few minutes,
    Using Windows 10 x64, i7 4700 HQ,8GB RAM, Audio 4 DJ, Kontrol X1 mk2, Timecode Vinyl Control...

Please help me, got a gig coming tonight...

I have the same issue, this only happen when i take the records output from my mixer and send it back to my laptop. The master out is correct, i've also tested the records out from the back panel into a sounds system and it's clean. CPU on the laptop below 10%, no background task / wifi or nothing. This didn't happen before (i've been using the same setup for the last 3 years) and seems to be limited to the recording.

    My setup :
Pioneer DJM-850 (used as a soundcard)
    NI Traktor 2.10.0.13
    Macbook with El-Capitan

Sample recording (forward to 2:30 and 5:30 for a good example)
