I would like to be able to change the internal properties of a fader at "run time" using another panel control. In this case, I would like to be able to use a knob or something to set the step size for the fader.

    Can this be done?

    Thanks in advance!

I assume that you are talking about changing the step, but keeping the same overall range? You can't change the properties of a fader "on the fly" as it were but you can achieve the same functionality with some arithmetic at the output of the fader. Of course, the fader won't "click" between steps using an arithmetic solution.

try the quantizer module (the arithmatic module pwoo is reffering too i assume). you can remove the fader's display and use a numeric display (pictureless fader) module instead. you cant type in new values this way, though.

It is possible but your post is not specifically enough. So the answer are more general.
Please describe exactly what behaviour you want.
