    I just wanted to drop a note of praise for NI customer service. I know they have sometimes been maligned in the past so I thought I'd share my positive experience.

    I just purchased Elektrik Piano and tried to upgrade to 1.5 but was unaware of the new serial number requirement. So when the service center asked for a new serial number I was concerned. I called NI tech support in the US. After waiting on hold for a little while, the customer service tech was able to get me the updated serial number. He waited on the phone until I had authorized it and had it up and running. So from the time my call was answered, I had the update (and new serial number ) working within two minutes.

    Thanks for the great service. Wish I could remember his name so I could thank him personally...

    wow, you're easily satisfied, i would have thought that what u are describing is the bare minimum one could expect from any company ...

    but 2 b fair, i's true that NI has been much better communicating in the last couple of months ;)

    I figured someone would say something like this.

    I posted my positive experience because all one ever hears is how bad NI's customer service is. I just wanted to show that that is not always true. If everyone that had a good experience with customer support posted about it, I'd guess it would outnumber the negative experiences by quite a bit.
