    Hello!
So I was wondering if it was possible to do precise automations with Maschine. I know you can press on auto write when the track is playing and say automate the pitch, but that is really not precise. You can also click on the "automation line" down there and insert dots where ever you want, but that would take way to much time and it would be nearly impossible to do a (perfect) diagonal, which is why I am really asking this question. If you would want to make a simple buildup and constantly raise the the pitch up (diagaonal) how would yo do that? Right now everything works like brickwalls (please click on picture):

Shift + the automation knob is more precise, but there is currently no way of drawing straight lines or curves into the automation window.

Another shocker for me with Maschine...ok, I'm gonna start a list and add it to the requested features section of the forum.

It's been requested. The new layout of Maschine 2.0 with 'tooltypes' means it now looks like there's an obvious place for this improvement to go.

This needs to be done in the next update! It would be so useful...

When i use the shift+ Automation knob. it does map some midi information ie a couple of steps per bar at best. but nowhere near the full extent of what i am performing, or what can be mapped with regular midi automations. Any ideas?

    Hi Rutherford,
try changing your Step Grid settings (or Disabling Step Grid)?:

"Enabling or Disabling the Step Grid
► To enable or disable the Step Grid, click the Step Grid button (showing a little grid icon) in the bottom left corner of the Pattern Editor.
    The Step Grid is enabled.

    Adjusting the Step Grid
The Step Grid resolution can be adjusted via the Step Size menu, showing a value next to the grid icon at the bottom left of the Pattern Editor:

The Step Size menu lets you adjust the Step Grid resolution.
To select the step size that will apply to all your editing actions, click the value next to the grid icon at the bottom left of the Pattern Editor and choose the desired step size from the drop-down menu. Values range from 1 Bar to 1/128 and also include triplet values. The default value is 1/16th note."

Ok I thought it was impossible but, somehow I was able to click the beginning point of my automation and then the end of my automation and everything on the 32ed notes all were equal distance making a line! The problem is I was so happy with my discovery that I forgot what the heck I was doing and forgot how to recreate it. I feel like in situations like this there was one thing clicked or something really simple like that. Im attaching a picture so you can see what I ended up with and what I'm trying to get back to
