i have no idea what the new library is good for if there´s no way to prelisten cells. (or at least the sample content of cellfiles).
so i have 11 gigs of drumsamples perfectly sorted by kicks, snares etc.
but there´s no way to quickly step through them while prelistening them.
i´m not the one who uses preset drumsets - i rather need to quickly
setup a new set of sounds as i need it. this was quite good with B2 and could have been perfect w/B3 but as it is, it´s kind of useless. (well, the library at least)....

THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE ?!?!??!? This is the one missing feature that kept me from using Battery 2 and I have been asking to implement this feature over a year ago. In fact, I've been trying to find out if this may be working, but no luck up to now and a demo version isn't also out there yet. So the mentioning of the In-Kit Preview and the Cell Library is just total marketing bollocks, because you aren't able to connect those features to work in a practical way?

If I remember correctly, the Cel-Format has already been invented with Battery 2, so, basically, a Cell Library would have been possible back then. It has also been possible to skip through all the samples of a specific directory and even the In-Kit Preview has been possible - so I really wonder what the deal is with these so-called new features (but I'd be happy to be proven wrong).

...I have just watched the quick start video tutorial for Battery 3 and it shows that it is possible to load a cell from the Cell Library and to step through the different cells from the library then. So this would be basically working for me - all I need now is a demo version of Battery 3 to see how much CPU it will take and how often it will crash on my computer... :p
