Is it possible to make the preview song to beat sync with the live song. I believe that it would give the DJ a better decision if the preview song will make a good choice to load in the deck if it actually beat sync'd and not sound like a train wreck.

Do you use 4 decks at once? If not, load into a track deck instead.

I use 3 decks and 1 sample deck. I've been mixing since 14 years old so i'm pretty well rounded in different styles of music just by hearing it even if it's for the first time. I don't mix with a preset playlist and since I'm in multiple record pools I get about 150 -200 new tracks per week so it's hard to keep up. I just run Platinum notes on the new tracks and dump it into my external. I find myself at the browser screen a lot scrubbing thru tracks but it's not beat sync'd to whats playing live. I like to mix in key code and some song may have a different intro. even though the track could in the same key but you know that it just doesn't sound right and end up browsing for another track.

It would be too confusing if you hit a preview play by accident....as you would hear this 5th track and not know where it was coming from. The way it is, it is easy to know which is in preview - as its the one that is falling off - sounds different than you main mix.
