Priorities?

Hi. I'm a new owner of both Maschine and iMaschine. They're both cool concepts and hopefully the iMaschine app will prove successful in attracting new people into the Maschine community. But I wanted to say that before you spend more time making enhancements to iMaschine, it would be great to fix some of the basic things missing from Maschine that users have been asking for for a long time. Midi import is the number one thing I'm thinking of here. Would be great if it was coming soon to Maschine

 

Separate product, separate revenue stream, separate resourcing.

All true, but irrelevant to my point.

If the iPhone app pays for itself (which would be the motive to develop it in the first place), then it'll pay for the man hours to develop it.

Hours that without the iPhone revenue stream, wouldn't be there to divert to other projects anyway.

Not that you'll be necessarily be able to pull your iPhone coders and have them coding Maschine... different platforms, different code...

 

Hmm, not certain NI will make business decisions based on user input. Look at Kore hahahaha
