I tried rescanning my library, but my private samples are still not showing up...any thoughts? I originally imported them and tagged them using the database with new tags, and those tags are gone as well. Please help, this is immensely frustrating and I don't want to re-import hundreds of samples

Okay, can someone help me with this? Either that or show me how I can go back to 1.6. The improvements are definitely not worth me losing all of my samples and spending hours re-importing...Sowari, help me out man!

Check the folder your samples are in and the 'user folder' that point to that folder match up.

If they haven't been imported from a 'user folder', try reimporting a few samples. If it reimports with your tags present and correct, you can go ahead and add the rest.

Apart from that, we've tried to help. If it didn't work, tech support is over there <<<

I'm a little confused by your post. Before the switch from 1.6 to 1.7, there was no User folder in the browse mode, so my samples folders were obviously not linked to that non-existant folder. Besides, the samples I had imported before are from a ton of different folders that span across my hard drive. My process of importing was going through these folders, listening to the sounds, and importing the samples that sounded best by using the Maschine's left-hand-side browser. Are you saying that if I link these folders to the new user folder, only the samples which I originally imported will re-import? When I pull up preferences and rescan my library and user paths, I only see two folders: the basic maschine folder & the vintage heat folder expansion. Also, my personal samples used in previous songs work fine, but when I click on the magnifying glass to find where they are located in my library, it comes up blank. Hopefully these details help.

Quite honestly, Sowari, I'm unimpressed by your unhelpfullness and appropriation of confusing advice, such as the one above. I paid good money for the Maschine, some of which probably goes towards your paycheck, and want to get the most out of it that I can. I'm having an honest problem, not one caused by lethargy. I've spent hours trying to figure this out. You should do your job and be more helpful --especially when a software "update" seriously impairs my workflow. And I would love to ask tech support for help if they know this issue better. Maybe if the link <----- didn't direct me to a page completely in German, I could actually do so.

Either way, I'm just trying to get back to how my sample library was originally set up, with the hundreds of samples that I hand selected and imported from thousands of samples I don't want to use. If anybody could shed any light on this, I would be greatly appreciative. Even if it means going back to the 1.6 library setup and system, I'm completely okay with that.

    Thanks

I understood your thought. Besides, there are another case that NI aren't paying good money for support team but throwing lot of money in to their pocket , as seeing NI's bad reputation of the suppot. I can understand it's hard for him to support all technical question here. NI needs to invest their gained money for serious support rather than wasting on cheesy ad.

@eevnen, i do not get paid for doing the Moderation here, i do this in my spare time.

i have offered all the advice that i know of. apart from doing what is suggested in the video and what lethal_pizzle - a long time Maschine user - has said, i have nothing to add apart from suggesting that you contact tech support.
