pro 53, komplete 6, ableton suite 8

    hello

    I just can't seem to solve this problem I have. I have bought and installed pro 53 separatly because it doesn't come in komplete 6. Everything works fine except Live can't seem to find/load the pro 53. I've done a rescan in Live but nothing ....It only shows the plugins from komplete 6 but pro 53 is nowhere to find there ....

    Don't recall there ever being any issues with Pro53 in Ableton, this may be a simple case of when you have installed Pro53, the dll may have been wrongly sent to the wrong vstplugin folder. In windows depending on what you have installed it could be in the folder Steinberb/Vstplugins, Cakewalk/Vstplugins or maybe even somewhere else. Check your default vstplug in path in Ableton to see what folder it is scanning, and if your pro53 dll is not in there, find it, and copy it into the folder Ableton in scanning and everything should be cool again.
    Also check you Ableton is up-to-date, I'm using the suite version 8.1 (there may even been a newer version 8.1.1 which I haven't bothered with yet) 99% of the time though errors like this are simply incorrect paths with vst plugins :)
