Pro 53 Works Standalone But Not Sonar After Upgrade

    I think I followed the steps right. I downloaded the 3.04.002 (from the about Pro 53 in stand alone) update. I got a new serial number from the SN request, though Pro 53 NEVER asked me to put it in. Pro 53 works fine in stand alone, but will not load in Sonar anymore. This is one of the first NI products I ever bought (5-7 years ago maybe?) and it has always worked until now.

    What do I do?

    BTW - when I ran service center, it did not show P53 as not registered.

    DXi or VST? If the VST, did you rescan your plugin folder?

    Also, if you're using the VST version, the plugin manager sometimes doesn't get the correct version; it'll think the synth's an effect. Go into your FX list and see if both Pro-53 and Pro-53FX .dlls are listed there. If so, configure them both as synths in their properties.

    I'd try a reset/rescan if it still doesn't show up.
