    Hi all.

    1) I recently re-installed Pro (1.1.2.004) on my MacBook (OSX 10.5.6). I load a master track, no problem, then i load a slave track, and hit Sync.....now......when i used to use Pro on another machine (earlier version of the software), when i hit sync, the sync button would remain lit, giving me confidence that the software was constantly alligning the beats of each track.....but now, on this new machine and with this latest version of the software, when i hit Sync, it does not stay lit.

I leave the Phase Meter visible and watch (in awkward suspense) as the track constantly drops out of allignment, sometimes massively, and then seems to re-allign. I dare not hit the sync button at any time again during the track, as i am scared (an justifiably) that Traktor wil skip the track forward or backward a beat and my mix will trainwreck like a mofo! This is especially scary during big beatless breakdowns, when the phase meter is going nuts, and im totally nervewracked that the drop is not going to be inline!

Plus....The Sync track no longer automatically becomes the Master track when the master finishes playing, or i take it off the deck.

    2) Sorry guys, but ive completely forgotton how to beat-grid tracks on the fly. I THINK that i used to scroll the track until the red line in the Wave Display sat squarely over the top of the first beat, and then I would hit the Auto Grid Button, and presto....beat grid....but now when i do this, nothing happens.....

Please tell me what is going on here....on my last machine i was just starting to really enjoy and trust Pro playing out...but now i stick to Serato just because it seems to be so much more reliable in the mix....

    Thanks in advance

    1) Looks like you've got the Master set to the wrong mode or you haven't beatgridded both tracks

I have Deck-Master set to Auto. I dont know what you mean about beat gridding both tracks......when i used to use Pro, it was simply a matter of dropping any track onto a deck, letting it analyze for 10 seconds, if the grid that Pro put on the track looked ok, then i would hit Sync, Sync would stay lit, and hit play...that was it.....someties it came out at 1/2 the known BPM, so i would hit x2, and again, sync, sync would stay it, play......if the grid was off, i would scroll the red ine in the wave display over the first beat, and hit the auto grid button (but now this doesnt seem to work for me either!)

I might change to Clock Master now though, as it seems more accurate?

Someone help please, this is shitting me to tears.

    hi i've fixed it.

    go to 'preferences'
