    I have just bought a VCI100 which obviously came with Traktor 3LE.

    I am going to purchase the Pro upgrade but will I be able to install it on my Macbook Pro and Windows laptop using the same serial number?

    You can install Pro on two machines with the same serial number.

    I think I remember reading somewhere that if you want to activate on a third machine, you must first remove/deactivate traktor on one of the previously activated machines.

    There is no 'deauthorize' function as such. As long as you follow the Uninstall procedure stated in the Manual Addendum (its wrongly stated in the Manual) then installing on another machine will work.
    Same ritual , install Service Center etc.
