i just posted a problem i was having with the audio being distorted and crackling when used as a plug-in in pro tools. i thought it was some kind of sampling rate or buffer problem.

BUT THE REAL PROBLEM seems to be, it's not properly loading up the settings from the standalone version.

For instance, I load up Carbon in the standalone. play Nautic setting, sounds good, use the drop down menu, play 15. la fluent, sounds fine.

Now in pro tools, set up my midi, open reaktor plug in, play the nautic, seems to sound fine. use the drop down menu, select 15 la fluent. it sounds all distorted. when i compare it's settings to the settings in the standalone, tons of buttons are selected on the one in pro tools that aren't part of the setting in the standalone.

it's actually just leaving all the buttons pushed in from the 1st setting, nautic, and when i go to a new preset, it is only turning the knobs, not the buttons.

IS THIS A BUG? Or am I just missing some dumb preference or setting that makes this behave normally.

    please help...

    thanks,
    christian

    switch bug

    The 4.1 update has a ' switch-bug'.
NI is sorting it out a.s.a.p.
So best wait for that bug-fix, and when things still don't work after that..... there's a problem.

Most .ens from the library seem to work okay, carbon gives stranges sounds here as well.
