I recently had to do a clean install of Windows 10. Pro-53 and FM7 had been working before but now it seems whilst I can install it I cannot reactivate the software in Service Center. You are also not providing an offline process either! I have emailed Native Instruments so-called support and they were no help at all - just a droid repeating the company mantra! Does anyone have an activation solution please. Like many I have paid for a license that I can no longer use and no upgrade is available for Pro53 (of course I upgraded to FM8 years ago but I actually still find the FM7 interface more intuitive - that's my choice!) . This is unacceptable Native Instruments. I appreciate this software has not been supported for many years, however this does not detract from the fact that I paid for this license and should be able to activate it on any operating system that it was designed to be used with. Native Instruments, you need to come up with a better solution than just fobbing people off. As I am not able to activate and use the software I paid for can I have a refund please? This is just another example of how tech companies treat their users with contempt. Before you have a go, imagine how you would feel if the company suddenly decided to pull Native Access without offering a solution?
As a suggestion, how about offering an activation free version of the plug in. Steinberg did this years ago when they released free, unsupported versions of early VSTis (including Model E) They VST Classics Vol. 1 and 2
I also have a Pro53 which I need to reactivate. I can see it in Native Access - it even displays the serial number - but it says "Demo" next to it and there's no obvious way to activate the full version.
Works it as a demo? In my NINA the collection of Kore Player named Demo in NINA - but works quiet well in Kore Player.
Cannot save sounds in demo mode so it's not much use! We are not demoers -we are fully paid up users that N.I. seem to want to discard because it's an inconvenience to them. .
Still waiting for your answer to my question in this thread https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/fm7-and-pro53-activation.420715/ EvilDragon. Which registry keys did you delete?
KEY, SYSTEMID and SNO strings in relevant product's key in HKLM\Software\Native Instruments, HKLM\Software\WoW6432Node\Native Instruments and HKCU\Software\Native Instruments.
I have tried deleting those keys and Native Access still sees it as a DEMO. Is a new SYSTEM ID supposed to be created in Native Access? Do I need Service Centre installed in order to fool the system in some way?
As an analogy, when Steinberg went from their older parallel port copy protection to a USB Synchrosoft which became eLicenser system they made sure that users of the older Cubase VST 5.1 software weren't left with unusable software by providing new licenses upon video evidence of the old dongle being destroyed. A shame Native Instruments couldn't do the same.
