hi, im using the tsd set, id just like 2 ask if i could use channel 1 of the djm800 mixer when in phono/turntable mode, as you all u all know, channel 1 of the djm800 is line/cd, theres no phono input for my multicore cable to plug into, if i want to try this, i would connect my multicore cables mixer/line to the line in and mixer/tt to the cd input?
my friend who uses serato uses channel 1 and plays with turntable ü
    Thanks ü

    ah.... also a dumb question

    d'oh. out of the loop.

when you say 'when in phono/turntable mode' do you mean you want to play normal records?

If your TT is like a Stanton, Numark & others that output 'Line level' as well as the more usual Phono then you can do it OK. Just use the TT in 'Line level' mode.

Otherwise, if you are using Technics (or indeed any other TT) , you should be able to use the 'Software Thru' feature of Traktor to route the TT's signal into the same channel as the one outputting your digital files. If you look at the Deck Buttons ( A or B) you'll see a small arrow. Click on this arrow to see your output options.

OK. Just use the 'Audio Through' option on your large A or B deck buttons to toggle between timecode and normal vinyl use.
