Solved Problem: 8 steps triggering notes even when steps are off

Hi everybody!

I am new to Blocks, and I am having a problem with 8 steps. When I get it all hooked up and play, it triggers notes on every step, even when they are turned off. I am not sure why this is happening, as I have watched a few tutorials for making basic patches with 8 steps, and have everything connected properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

If I click the green coloured step to grey the sound jumps over the gap.
Try to use the factory ensemble 'Steps'.

Even when the step is clicked to grey, it still produces a sound!

 

Not with the ensemble Steps.

 

How do you connect 8 steps? Is there a hardcopy from the structure?

Do you connect an ADSR envelope on gate?

 

What Block is gating your EG ?

 

Here is a screenshot of me just attempting a quick patch, with the same result. As I am a total newbie, I am certain I making a silly mistake, as I do not have this problem when I just load the "Steps" ensemble.

 

Connect the Bento Steps Gate Out to the EG Gate.
