I've got a strange problem when runing Absynth2 as a VST in FL Studio.
It is working fine when I play Absynth 2 in FL Studio with my midi keyboard.
It is also possible to record this in FL Studio as it is supposed to be.
But in playback mode it doesn't work.
The program jumps to pause right away. After a second it restarts playback again and pauses again, etc.
I hope you can help me with this problem.

    asio buffer problem

I found out that the problem only occured when using an ASIO streaming buffer and not with a direct sound streaming buffer.
When using ASIO I had to set it to 4000 samples or higher to let it work properly. This means that on my computer I get a long latency of 90 ms.
With Absynth 1 this I didn't have this problem and could easily work with a small buffer and short latency's of about 10 ms.

    thanks for your response ...
i got a similar clue at the yahoo groups absynth users forum ...
    check the thread there ...

i does appear to be a ASIO problem ...
i am posting on the FL Studio website also , and will update this thread if i have any info ...

basically , here is what i have tried ...
01.] set FL Studio audio drivers to direct drivers , not ASIO ...
02.] set Absynth2 output to ASIO full duplex ...

with this combo , i was able to run multiples ( 2 for my test ) ...
i will try further combinations and post my results ...

due to this , as you noted , there are major latency concerns w/ absynth2 that were not a concern with absynth ...

ASIO and driver issues are not among my strong points ...
