Problem with iAxe 393 and Guitar Combos

On installing the software and drivers for my Behringer USB iAxe 393 guitar im having a lot of difficulty trying to get the software to recognise the guitar.

My audio settings on Guitar Combo are set to ASIO but cant produce any sound. PLEASE HELP!

What are your settings under the routing tab in audio/MIDI settings?

Both input and output is Behringer USB audio, theyre the only ones listed.

 

Ok- and you're listening through the headphone jack on the iAxe, right?

No. Do i need headphones plugged into that? I just put them into my laptop hoping to hear sound through them.

 

Yep. With ASIO, you must use the same device for input and output (unless the devices are made by the same company and they allow sharing of the same driver).

You could try using ASIO4All as an aggregate driver; that might let you combine the iAxe input with your laptop's output. ASIO4All actually uses the WDM drivers (which can be combined) to emulate an ASIO driver.

So by the only way I can record onto the software I HAVE to put headphones into the socket

 

I've only just started with iaxe/combos but think it will still record but you will not be ableto her it.
