problem with my new numark 4trak

hi everyone ..

After long waiting finally i got my new numark 4trak ..
but im really disappointed and sad .. i think something is wrong with it

when i put my beats Studio headphone in the headphone input on the front of the numark 4trak i hear nothing there's no sound whats so ever ..
i really tried to change the output device in Traktor preferences and nothing happened .. i started thinking maybe the problem with my driver installation so i installed it 3 times and still there's no sound .. also i uninstalled Traktor too

one thing i want to add is that the master volume indicator on the dj controller in the middle of the mixer doesn't work either ..

is it a hardware problem ?

Please post a screenshot of your Traktor output routing.

Are you able to use the 4TRAK as your output device in Windows/OSX?

its working now .. i don't know how
but still the master volume indicator is off
and the "line in" in the recording devices its not working too ?

 

How have you set your Output Routing?

my output routing :

mixing mode = Internal

Output monitor =

L 3: out 3
R 4: out 4

Output master =
L 1: out 1
R 2: out 2

Output Record =

L -not connected-
R - not connected-

i have no idea what are these ..
still the recording device doesn't work and the master volume indicator ..
any idea ?

 

You should use "Internal" recording which is selectable from the Mix Recorder tab.

Does the Master Output sound work properly, and is the only problem the indicator lights?

Are you using the standard 4TRAK mapping?

Sorry i'm new at this .. thankfully my problems are solved now except one ..

I read the manual very carefully and i discovered that the master scroll knob on the browsing area is responsible for the indicator lights "master LED meter" so when i scrolled it to max the Lights began working.

The recording work perfectly . but when i use the traktor i can't record using any other program i think its because the recording device "Line in " is used by the Traktor. any idea ?

There's no need to use another program to record; Traktor's built in recorder should work fine.

If you want to use another program you'll need to connect a cable from your main output to an available input.
