Problem working duo

i CANNOT find my last thread, it looks like it was deleted. anyways when i setup traktor and load a track it says coalib failed and unknown track etc. ive seen other threads like this but i cannot get mine to play music unless i switch my mixer to line, on phone i can hear music and a whistling noise, when i switch to line just the music but it sounds like ****. Do i need to download something? Am i doing anything wrong? Should i be on line or phone? Thanks in advance to any help I can get!

also on my audio 4 it is green light only on phone, should it be on line or vinyl control both or either? If so how do i change it there's not buttons i can see!

 

I'm just goign to assume you use vinyl timecode

first of all:

open the audio 4 dj settings program and make sure that Phono(recording) and Line (Tiemcode cd) is both lit up, if this is not the case click on Vinyl control, now they should light

The wiring:

If you're using multicore cables plug the the cables of the TTs into the female multicore plugs, The cables labeled audio 8 dj input and output to the respective colors and finally The CD/TT wire to phono and line to line

if you use normal rca cable plug the tts cables into the input and rcas from the output to the line input of the mixer
