    Hi guys,
    just got Maschine but I have a problem installing.
    First of all I have PC with Windows XP, service Pack 2 (I meet all needs for installing).

    I follow the procedures...I do not hook up the hardware...I insert the software...I explore the dvd...and click on the Maschine Setup...
    At a certain point...i does not go on installing...it's like if it were doing nothing just running around...
    I tried to do single installs to check out if there was any problem with the dvd...
    Security center is perfetcly installed...hardware controller also
    The problem comes when I install separetely the drivers...It stops installing at the following point (Status: INSTALLING THE USB DRIVER).
    Guess it's the same problem on the complete installing (although it does not write it)...
    How do I solve this problem? Geeeze I can't even try out this new thing damn it...

    The .NET framework version shouldn't make any difference; the Maschine installer doesn't use it (nor does Maschine). The Windows installer version could, though.

    @ the OP- the only reasons I can think of for your problem would be;
    1) if your system didn't have USB2 support, and/or
    2) you have McAfee or Norton on your system- both of those have been known to screw up USB installs.

    If 2) fits you, run- don't walk- to the Norton or McAfee site and dig around for the removal tool that removes all traces of the app from your system. Neither of those have any place on a system for audio (or any home system, for that matter): they're as bad as the viruses they're supposed to protect against.

    i had the same problem, took me 12 hours to install it, it kept going in a loop, in the end i just left it, came back it installed.
    now got a problem with audio crackling noise, im going to smash the s! out of it soon.
