Problems integrating Kontakt with Cubase LE....

    I'm really having problems integrating my new Kontakt 2 with Cubase LE.
    If anyone out there could give me their midi settings for setup I would appreciate it. I'm coming out of my controller and doing a midi-through via USB through my Fantom XR rack. I have Garrittan Strings loaded and it works fine with my Cubase, as do my Fantom internal sounds. Kontakt just isn't integrating correctly for me. I can trigger the sounds in the library but it won't record. Plus, shouldn't my Kontakt be loading automatically when I load Cubase, since it's supposed to be a plug-in? I really am having a hard time with all of this. Any help would be great.....

    Are you maybe launching Kontakt 2 standalone, instead of instantiating it as a VST plug-in within Cubase?

    I want to use it as a plug-in with Cubase but I'm doing something wrong. Any quick suggestions? Thanks....
