    Just installed the beta!

There are some things that annoyed me:

1- were the heck are my beat grids? Most of them are gone...
2- I've been runing 1.1.2 at 1 ms and ran it like a breeeze. now i get crackles when I press play or cue on my cd players (timecode) - even @ 2.5 ms and 5.0ms. Stopped usin keylock with both versions...
3- though the key algorithm improved i get the same problems with the previous one! miss aligned beats with the exact same bpm on to tracks gridded (I've sent a message to the technical when i first met this problem in 1.1.2). Let's say the 3rd beat of a bar doesn't match the third on the other track - this goes on and on!

the high quality algorithm can't be handled properly by my mac dual core 2.4 4 gb ram... come on! the processing bar doen't reach 1/16 and sound looks like cr*p .same problem as 1.1.2...

Conclusion: going back for 1.1.2... and hope that 1.2 comes freakin' good (or i'll change to serato like chilly :p )

Have you reported the bugs on the bug tracker?

Set keylock range to +50/-30. this should help. I reported this issue during Beta testing, I had to set the latency of my audio 8 to 7.5ms to get rid of crackles that would appear on the master outs if I was cueing a track.

I do not scratch, I generally beat match and key match when mixing. To be honest, latency is not really an issue for me the way I use Traktor so it is HiQ mode for me all day long. Beat matching in ECO mode is a definate no no however, Scratching is definately Eco mode. Karlos, hope your reading this one lol! Are you an uncle yet?

    To avoid confusion:

    >> Set keylock range to +50/-30.
This setting is now called "Mode", and the option you mentioned is called "Scratch"

Thanks Rainer, I did not even notice, guess it changed in R7573. BTW, I was trying to buy the bible the other day and for some reason the site was not working on check out.

And this, in my humblest of opinions, is a rather good change over earlier; hopefully helps to avoid a lot of confusion from new users. However, I don't think calling the other option "normal" is exactly correct (but will do in need of a better one:)

humm. Is there any difference in terms of cpu usage between scratch and normal mode?

I hate the high quality keylock mode (traumatize with crackles) :p
I'll have to use eco anyway...

Can't answer that one, but if you change your latency, you can use HiQ, which, if you are beat matching, is in my opinion better.

Yes indeed :) but eats my CPU and creates crackles at 2.5ms. Can't understand why they don't let traktor eat some more cpu. more 5 % or 10%. It would be MUCH better.
