    Hi,
I am completely new to Traktor and am also a new Mac user.
I have jus updated to Traktor version 2.1.1.
    The equipment I use is:-
    Macbook pro
    2x pioner cdjs
    pioneer djm 600
    traktor kontrol X1
    Audio 8

I am having a few problems with the initial Cue point when importing a track.
After the waveform has loaded if I hit the cue button on the CDJ the wave disapears and i have to click on the waveform below to bring it back up. I have been looking at a gew threads and the general opinion is that Traktor does this with all .aiff files - but all of my files are .mp3. I dont know if they are a differnet form of .mp3? as with all my files after purchase I open them in Adobe audition and edit them (cut the silence at start, amplify vol etc) and them save them as .mp3.
Is there any way of getting around this as it is very frustrating to have to go to my computer with the majority of the tracks and have to click on the waveform again?

Another problem I am having is when the file is imported and the cue is at the start of the track - when i press the cue button on the CDJ the start point jumps back, normally the distance of 2grid lines but this doent happen for every file. Then again i need to select cue 1 within tacktor to get to the start of the track or set my own cue point on the cdj - which is again very frustrating and wastes tiem id rather be using DJin!

If anyone can offer me any help it would be hugely appreciated!
Like i said i am brand new to traktor & mac so be patient with me :D

    many thanks

In your preferences, under "Loading," check "initially load to cue marker." Then, place load markers at the beginning of your tracks. Uncheck the snap and quantise feature if you are not gridding your tracks and using loops....for example, if you are playing disco or funk that uses a real drummer or older editing practices.
